Water Process Technicians perform reactive and routine maintenance on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations, supporting other disciplines as necessary. The main roles within this occupation involve working on water supply and treatment; water networks and waste water networks and waste water treatment. A successful apprentice will meet the requirements common to all three areas and also one set of specific requirements. Depending on employers needs, training may be for a single role, or be expanded beyond that role.
The Water Process Technician Apprenticeship, has different areas:-
- Water Treatment Technician
- Wastewater Treatment Technician
- Water Networks Technician
- Water Distribution - Network Technician
- Water Distribution - Leakage Technician
- Wastewater (Sewerage) Network Technician
