This confined space awareness course is specifically designed to provide learners with the knowledge of the dangers associated with confined spaces
Objectives
By the end of this confined space awareness course the participants will be able to:
- Know where to access current legislation
- Recognise a confined space
- Describe the dangers associated with confined spaces
- Describe the different types of entry as outlined in the Water UK classification and management of confined space entries
- List the typical equipment required for confined space entry (low and medium risk)
- List common confined space hazards
- Define the reasons for pre use equipment checks
