First Aid Awareness
This Course is designed for delegates to understand incidents that require emergency first aid including principles of first aid, first aid kits, up to date CPR, emergency procedures and use of a defibrillator if someone has gone into cardiac arrest. This course is power point only, discussing site specific hazards with a written assessment prior to completion.
Objectives
By the end of this course you will be able to understand;
- Introduction and explanation of First Aid
- Understand the principles of First Aid.
- First Aid kits
- How to alert advanced medical help.
- Managing an incident safely.
- Basic life support/recovery position.
- Provide appropriate first aid for minor injuries, choking, bleeding and Shock.
