CDM Awareness
This training course is designed to provide the skills and knowledge required to enable the delegates to understand and manage the Construction (Design and Management) regulations within the workplace.
Objectives
By the end of this course the participants will be able to:
- Explain the aims of the CDM regulations
- Understand the law including what to do if the work comes under the CDM Regulations 2015 and Approved Code of Practice
- Understand the duties of the client, designer, principle contractor and contractor
- Assess whether your particular role is covered by the CDM regulations
- Navigate CDM documents
- Identify sources of industry guidance

A mixture of trainer led presentation supported with practical activities and exercises.
