Objectives
By the end of this course the participants will be able to:
Explain what the law requires in respect of PPE
Describe how the use of PPE fits into an overall risk control hierarchy
Recognise typical hazards and how different items of PPE can be used
Outline standards that PPE should meet and how it should be selected
Outline how PPE should be stored maintained and replaced

A classroom based training course using a mixture of trainer presentation and desk top exercises.
