Risk Assessor – Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 (COSHH)
This training course aims to provide delegates with skills and knowledge necessary to carry out risk assessments on hazardous substances and their application to meet the requirements of the Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 (COSHH)
Objectives
By the end of this course the participants will be able to:
- Outline the requirements of COSHH
- Explain how EH40 is used in the risk assessment process
- Describe how different substance can enter the human body
- Describe the information that should accompany hazardous substances
- Carry our risk assessment and identify suitable control measures
Method
A classroom based training course using a mixture of trainer presentation and desk top exercises. Practical risk assessment exercises may be incorporated where facilities allow
