Trailer Towing (Category B & E)
The B+E course is generally taken over 2 days with the DVSA Test being conducted on the second day. Emphasis is placed on safety and a high standard of driving
Objectives
Day 1 Driving Licence check Eyesight Check Vehicle and trailer safety questions Reversing training Unhitch and rehitch the trailer On road driving up to DVSA Test Standard incorporating forward planning, junctions, highway code, hazard awareness, route planning, eco driving At the end of Day 1 further off road practice (reversing etc) until candidate is competent and ready for test.
Day 2 Practice prior to going to test on all the above elements as required
