Writing method statements

This training course aims to provide learners with skills and knowledge necessary to write method statements operational activities.

By the end of this course the participants will be able to:

Assess the proposed working environment in relation to planned activities and the potential risks posed
Determine the groups of people likely to be affected by the work and how they should be protected
Determine Equipment tools and materials requirements
Determine human resource requirements
Use outcomes of risk assessments to determine safety requirements
Identify plant and delivery movements required
Apportion responsibility for specific activities
Determine and record a schedule of activities in a logical and efficient sequence

A classroom based training course using a mixture of trainer presentation and practical exercises.
