Flow & Pressure Testing
This course is aimed at water industry technicians needing to be able to carry out flow and pressure measurements and interpret their results.
Objectives
By the end of this course the participants will be able to:
- Explain the relationship between flow and pressure
- Use a range of equipment to measure flow and pressure at various points
- Describe the flow and pressure standards relating to water industry customers
- Analyse flow and pressure measurements to diagnose faults within systems
- Describe techniques for rectifying faults that affect flow and pressure within systems
Method
The course will consist of a mixture of classroom based tuition and practical exercises.
