Leakage Detection NVQ Level 2
This NVQ is the only nationally accredited qualification at level 2 for water industry technicians involved in detecting leakage on water distribution networks. Candidates successfully completing this qualification will have demonstrated their competence against national occupational standards for leakage detection.
Objectives
There are four units of competence in this award and they are:
- HS01 Ensure your own actions reduce risks to health and safety
- LDC202 Assess the configuration of the metered area
- LDC203 Trace the route of water pipes and locate surface fittings
- LDC209 Determine the location of water loss
