Mains Pressure Testing
This course provides the knowledge required to carry out hydrostatic pressure testing activities on water distribution systems in accordance with BS EN 805:2000 & IGN 4-01-03 Issue 2 November 2015.
Objectives
By the end of this course the participants will be able to:
- State the requirements of BS EN 805: 2000 / IGN 4-01-03 Issue 2
- State the differences between pressure tests for rigid and elastomeric pipelines.
- Carry out a pressure test on a rigid pipeline in accordance with BS EN 805:2000 / IGN 4-01-03 Issue 2
- Carry out a pressure test on an elastomeric (PE) pipeline in accordance with BS EN 805:2000 / IGN 4-01-03 Issue 2.
- Calculate and interpret test results for rigid & elastomeric pipelines
